Wortlaut imitates a casual handwriting with “printed” letters. It does not look extravagant or constructed or calligraphic, simply a neat and clean hand for e.g. shopping lists or sticky notes.
For that reason the font is also suitable for longer passages of text, not only a few words or lines. You might use it for rendering a handwritten letter within a printed novel.
Wortlaut comes with additional characters for most Eastern and Western European languages but does not contain Greek or Cyrillic. It comes in three weights, Regular, Medium and Bold. For Medium use the wortl-m.ttf file if your app can handle more than two weights. If your software can only handle Regular and Bold use wortl-md.ttf, which makes the Medium weight appear as an additional font family.
