Manzoni typeface is inspired by the Erasmus exchange in Italy. Letters found on the street signs and walls were the main inspiration for the project.
It was very important for me to include all the polish diacritics in the project so it could work well with the polish language. This font took me months to finish and I was designing it in 4 different countries, in cafes, libraries, buses, on the beach and in my room. The idea started in Italy, when I was wandering on the streets of Bari and other cities, gathering inspirations.
