Mailpile is a slab serif type family based on the awesome free font Fauna One made by Eduardo Rodríguez Tunni. The goal was to create something closer the slab-serif font Museo which we had used in the branding but were unable to bundle in the Mailpile source code due to a licensing conflict.
With help of font master Richard Fink, the designer Brennan Novak refined the typeface to it's current state. The Mailpile also had some amazing help & mentorship from Vernon Adams. Lastly, the uber talented Sveinbjorn Paulsson helped finish off the final touches and made the alternate weights.
