Lanze is a very sharp, but also humanistic in it’s nature condensed sans serif with two variable axis: contrast and weight. The four styles - Pike, Spear, Scythe and Halberd - are named after medieval weapons, and their sharp geometry and contrasting shapes make the typeface particularly effective for the music industry, film, fashion and tech startups.
Lanze is based on a balance between structural clarity and humanistic plasticity. The variable font file allows for a wide range of styles, from neutral to extremely contrast, giving designers a flexible tool for both web and large format work.
