Fungis is a sans serif typeface made by combining the versatility of grotesque fonts with her curves and cut bowls in some of the letterforms, making her neutral from a distance and a bit more nuanced up close.
Fungis is not pretty all the time, but she is friendly and outgoing. She based on Maison Margiela’s concept of the color white: a blank canvas, an “evidence of option, an option of expression”, but at the same time it is easily and uniquely stained by the passage of time, canceling its neutrality in a way.
She comes in 3 styles [Regular, Bold, Heavy] and has a couple glyphs missing as she’s still in development.
