Diodon is a reverse contrast typeface that attempts to recover the codes of the Didon family in order to deconstruct them. Its name is inspired by that of porcupine fish and refers to the expansive nature of the font and the interpolation of its weights, the project being basically made up of three weights: a first that we could qualify as Didone classical (Bodoni, Didot), a second close to Réales and a third in reverse contrast. The project ultimately resulted in the realization of only one weight, the most interesting.
