Des Malers Fraktur is a blackletter typeface that comes from a board in the specialist book publisher Dr. Pfannenberg & Co published book "Die Schriften des Malers" by Walter Schenk.
The book describes all aspects of the sign-painting craft - from the stylistic / historical basics of writing to all design and technical issues in the design and implementation of lettering. The writing template boards are written or drawn at a high level and impressively represent the typeface design in the German sign painting in the middle of the 20th century.
