Accanthis is a serif font family particularly suitable for text, display, or neat and stylish presentations. It comes in 3 widhts, each one in Regular and Bold weights with matched Italics.
Accanthis was at first inspired by Cloister Oldstyle of the book : AMERICAN SPECIMEN BOOK OF TYPEFACES Suplement.
During the development, the idea was to transpose drawings to optimize visual quality and printing rendering. The three versions remain nevertheless like Garaldics "Modernized" at heart. Their contrast is not too high, but sufficient to provide a pleasant reading experience with elegant and sophisticated rendering.
