Crude means raw, unrefined — and this word became the foundation of our studio's entire visual identity. We wanted to express our design approach: working with primary shapes, fundamental decisions, and cutting out the unnecessary noise.
That’s how the idea for the Crude typeface was born. It’s built from four or six of the simplest geometric shapes — squares with varying corner radii. These elements became the building blocks for creating the letters. The typeface is both rough and precise, minimal yet layered. It doesn’t just reflect the character of our studio — it is the foundation.
