Truculenta is an irregular sans serif typeface based on lettering, yet with a little twist. This quirky grotesque has 3 weight variants (Thin, Regular, Bold) plus a Dirty version, a kind of ragged regular. Each variant has 2 sets of tabular figures (lining and old-style), a set of 135 ligatures, and 40 onomatopoeias. Truculenta Dirty comes with 40 original pictograms drawn by Eva Sanz.
This typeface is highly suitable for packaging, branding, book covers, illustrated editions, and film titles, since its personality may be more vibrant than the usual cold neo-grotesque. It was designed by Iván Castro, along with the Omnibus-Type Team.
