Menhir is a massive typeface with a feeling of being carved into a very dense and rough matter. There is no curve in the design of the letters like in a cut stone sculpted with a primitive chisel.
The shape of this font face is very stocky due to low contrast between the caps height and lower cases height that have as well small ascender and descender heights. The design concern of this font is to combine a minimalistic readable shape of letter with a brutalist aesthetic.
