Kawkaa is a Latin typeface and Arabic catch phrase inspired from a monument from Islamic Cairo. This element is one of the mihrabs ( a niche in a mosque's wall facing Mecca, towards which the congregation prays) which located in Qalwaun complex. Shells are famous by protection they are used in engraved monuments in Islamic Cairo that aim for guidance and direction. Today we consider shells as organic forms that represent playfulness and fun that is carried by sea waves and remains on beach.
