Karrik is a typeface with original take on the Grotesque genre. Using purposely a carefully irregular drawing and avoiding optical corrections, Karrik aims to recall early naïve and clumsy sans-serifs.
The initial purpose was a custom font for the 2020 issue of Le Cercle magazine. This issue was about Ghosts, and Karrik answered the brief with this raw sans serif reminding abandonned places filled with clumsy typography.
