Cogncur is a high quality, fully connected cursive font for teaching purposes.
Cogncur has the body proportions and the characteristic 'arches' and 'counters' of italic handwriting. But the loops, joins and uppercase letter forms come from various German school scripts from shortly after WW2. Letter shapes tend towards pretty traditional in so far as traditional forms help to avoid 'pencil lifts', but otherwise are simple and without the extreme slant and unnecessary flourishes that might have looked nice when people were still using fountain pens that produced strokes of variable thickness, but today only hurt readability.
