Cakra is an experimental display typeface with a unique personality and contemporary vibe. It is perfect for logos, headlines, posters, art projects, social media, visual identity, film posters, music cover art, and so on.
This font was created for the video studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the BUT in Brno in collaboration with Lucía Kollert, who was a student of the studio (2018). In her cloistered work, she addressed the identity of the atelier through tailored clothing. Lucia then printed the clothes using a screen printing technique created with the Cakra font.
The font had two other shape modifications (square and bat). The studio received the font for use in its internal and external communications. Over the following months, the font was used for various other projects outside of the video studio and was gradually supplemented with other elements.
