Asa Branca is a digital font developed from the vernacular signs of the city of Caruaru, which is located in the interior of Pernambuco. Its name refers to a migratory bird, which has a strong symbolism of freedom and resistance in northeastern culture, having even inspired the famous song by Luiz Gonzaga, of the same name.
